I was born in Pune (India), lived in Minnesota and am currently based in State College, Pennsylvania! From tropical climate to polar vortexes, I’ve experienced it all! Over the last decade, I have transitioned from being a software engineer working in the telecom industry to a HCI researcher working on leveraging technology to solve social problems (with a short but productive detour via education policy and program evaluation). I am a doctoral candidate in Informatics investigating how undergraduate learning experiences can be enriched. I am interested in human-AI interactions and research that promotes meaningful human-AI collaborations. My research is motivated by how technology shapes how we work and vice versa. I love to design and bring to life projects that aim to address societal problems.
